Cypress Semiconductor EZ-PD™ BCR USB Type-C Port Controllers is used to target electronic devices with legacy barrel connectors up to 100W. The controllers can also use USB micro-B connectors to power rechargeable devices like drones, smart speakers, power tools, and more. EZ-PD BCR complies with the latest USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (PD) standards. Convert devices from barrel connector powered to USB-C connector powered with few external components. No firmware development is required.
