Azoteq IQS625 ProxFusion IC is a multifunctional capacitance and Hall-effect sensor designed for applications where any or all of the technologies may be required. The Hall-effect sensors calculate the angle of a magnet rotating parallel with the sensor. The sensor is fully I2C compatible and on-chip calculations enable the IC to stream the current angle/interval of the magnet without extra calculations. Applications include anemometer, thermostat, dial/selector knob, mouse wheel, measuring wheel, digital angle gauge, and speedometer for a bicycle.

Features

Hall effect angle sensor:On-chip Hall platesAbsolute Wheel Interval OutputRaw data: can be used to calculate degrees on an external processor.Wide operational rangeNo external components requiredPartial auto calibration:Continuous auto-calibration, compensation for wear or small displacements of the sensor or magnet.Flexible gain controlAutomatic Tuning Implementation (ATI) – Performance enhancement (10 bit).Capacitive sensingFull auto-tuning with adjustable sensitivity2pF to 200pF external capacitive load capability
