Arduino MKR RGB Shield offers 7 x 12 RGB LEDs for displaying text, statuses, graphics, and information. This RGB shield features a total of 84 APA102 dense and bright RGB LEDs with full RGB colors. The MKR RGB shield requires no soldering or special adapters for mounting and is controllable from the Arduino IoT cloud. This RGB shield offers an official Arduino library with examples and methods for writing static and scrollable text. The MKR RGB shield communicates through Special Peripheral Interface (SPI) interface and is available in 61.5mm x 27mm dimensions. This RGB shield operates at 3.3V supply voltage operating voltage and 2.5A maximum current.
